Project overview

The work, in focus.

A two-storey white rendered residence set among mature trees, with full-height glazed openings and warm interior light at dusk.

Project objective

Keep a coastal home calm and private within an established grove of mature trees, preserving shade, views and the surrounding ground cover.

Design approach

Clean cubic volumes, a flat roofline and deep-set dark-framed glazing keep the façade simple, while the existing trees are retained to shade the house and filter the evening light.
